Cat has been with Family Vets since 2006. She began her career in veterinary medicine at the age of 16 while she was still in high school and began her college degree in Pre-Vet.
She previously worked in Florida and has completed additional training in canine/feline dentistry and has 2 years experience in veterinary emergency services. She is currently working to get her Wildlife Rehabilitation license and will focus mainly on squirrels and raccoons. Cat lives in Peru with her husband and two dogs, Bullett and Ruger. She enjoys cooking, crafting and Harry Potter.
Crystal graduated Holyoke Community College's Veterinary Technician program in 2008 with Bachelors degrees in Animal Science and Mathematics.
She has been in the field for over 9 years before becoming a member of the Family Veterinary Center in March 2017. She has a new husky puppy named Boomer. In her spare time she enjoys four-wheeling, snowmobiling, golfing, shopping and spending time with her family.
Lauren's love for animals has brought her into the veterinary field as a career choice, with over four years of experience working as a veterinary assistant.
Since a young age her passion for animals has given her the opportunity and privilege to actively foster and rescue pets and creatures of all kinds, including snakes, iguanas, horses, ferrets, and almost everything in between. When she's not spending time with her rescue pit bull 'crystal', her rabbit 'ziona', and her ducks and chickens then you can usually find Lauren in her gardens or working with stone. She also enjoys spending time on her art, including drift wood sculptures, drift wood furniture, stained glass, painting, and refurbishing/repurposing antique and vintage items.
Jill has been with us since 2005 as a certified accountant and has been working with businesses all over the Valley for more than 25 years. Primarily, she works out of her West State St. location in Granby, MA, under the title Jill Kopka, CPA.
Since a young age Mike knew he would be working with animals because of the love he's always had for them. He worked several years in a pet store with animals. Then began a career at a corporate pet salon where he earned his pet grooming certificate after completing over 1600 hours of training. He has been a pet stylist for over 5 years. Grooming has become his passion and a big part of who he is. He enjoys grooming all types of breeds and ages but especially loves doing the terriers, and hand scissoring poodles and bichons. 'I pride myself as a perfectionist with an eye for detail and take pride in each and every groom I do. I love to see my furry friends happy.'
Welcome to our family, Mike!
