Meet the friendly staff at Family Veterinary Center!
Sue has a degree from Holyoke Community College in Veterinary Technology, and has been in the field for over 15 years.
She spent most of her career in wellness hospitals with small animals, exotics, and reptiles but has also worked in emergency medicine as an ICU nurse. She has two cats of her own, both rescues. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, and traveling.
Cat has been with Family Vets since 2006. She began her career in veterinary medicine at the age of 16 while she was still in high school and began her college degree in Pre-Vet.
She previously worked in Florida and has completed additional training in canine/feline dentistry and has 2 years experience in veterinary emergency services. She is currently working to get her Wildlife Rehabilitation license and will focus mainly on squirrels and raccoons. Cat lives in Westfield with her long haired dachshund, Bullett (who you can visit at the clinic!) and enjoys cooking, crafting and Harry Potter.
Crystal graduated Holyoke Community College's Veterinary Technician program in 2008 with Bachelors degrees in Animal Science and Mathematics.
She has been in the field for over 9 years before becoming a member of the Family Veterinary Center in March 2017. She has a 11 year old Husky named Kado. In her spare time she enjoys four-wheeling, snowmobiling, golfing, shopping and spending time with her family.
Lauren's love for animals has brought her into the veterinary field as a career choice, with over four years of experience working as a veterinary assistant.
Since a young age her passion for animals has given her the opportunity and privilege to actively foster and rescue pets and creatures of all kinds, including snakes, iguanas, horses, ferrets, and almost everything in between. When she's not spending time with her rescue pit bull "crystal", her rabbit "ziona", and her ducks and chickens then you can usually find Lauren in her gardens or working with stone. She also enjoys spending time on her art, including...
Jill has been with us since 2005 as a certified accountant and has been working with businesses all over the Valley for more than 25 years. Primarily, she works out of her West State St. location in Granby, MA, under the title Jill Kopka, CPA.
